Ben Kerrisk started his real estate career in 2008 and is the Principal of Gardian Real Estate. Before this Ben had spent 30 years of his life in a classroom, with 13 years of these on the other side of the desk. After working as a teacher and deputy principal of a local primary school, Ben made, what he calls, the natural transition into the real estate industry. “I’m still in education; whether it be educating myself, educating buyers, educating sellers or educating colleagues. It’s just that the subject has changed. It’s not Mathematics or English anymore its Real Estate.” His calm and friendly manner, combined with his fresh and innovative approach to the Sales process, has helped him achieve outstanding results for his clients.
Having lived in the Mackay region since 1999 has enabled Ben to develop an extensive network of contacts that appreciate his professionalism and humble approach. With a growing family of three boys, Ben realises the strains involved in the selling and buying process and his aim is to make the process as stress free as possible for his clients. Mick McLeod knows Mackay. The canefarmer's son, former local business owner, dedicated family man, fanatical sportsman, and having worked for some of our most iconic local businesses, has local knowledge and experience oozing through his veins. He graduated university in Rockhampton (before there was a Mackay campus). His first fulltime job was as a labourer. His second was in travel (for Qantas). He then opened his own travel agency, which he and his partners built into one of the most successful in the region. In recent years Mick has further honed his sales and marketing skills within the advertising team at 7Mackay. Through his work life he has forged a close relationship with all tiers of Mackay community, from families seeking the best value holiday to the city's most influential businessmen marketing their brands. Underpinning this is a sporting involvement - both on and off-field - that has imbedded the McLeod name across sports including rugby league, cricket, horse racing, basketball and touch football. Beside him always has been his wife Kath and their four adult children. Mick has had a passion for, and involvement in, real estate for some time. Having grown-up in Mackay and graduating North Mackay State High School, Ryan has a real passion for the local area. Post school Ryan spent two years away from Mackay with the aspiration to play football full time he took a job in sales at Struddy’s Sport in Brisbane to support his dreams. After 18 months of living down south Ryan was giving an opportunity to pursue his football career in the U.K which was cut short by injury.
