A total of 40 Mackay properties were put under contract by Gardian for the month of July. This is a record number of contracts for our agency for the month of July since our doors opened back in 2013! The new financial year (since July 1) has seen an increase in the volume of sales with $15,710,500 worth of our listings going under contract, that’s an average sale price of $392,762. That’s about 19% above Mackay’s annual median house price sale of $329,000.

When you compare to our past 3 previous years’ figures for July, we can see that now is an ideal opportunity to sell your property with this increased activity. In 2017, we had 21 properties under contract for a total of $7,652,000 and then in 2018, 24 properties for a total of $9,113,350 and last year 33 properties went under contract resulting in $13,265,000 in total.
