Many, many people took on our advice from last week and attended open homes. In fact, the 178 attendees over the weekend is a record number for Gardian. With an average of 5 groups at the open for inspections, our agents were kept busy with both potential buyers and sellers in attendance. Two of our properties had an astonishing 26 groups walk through them (you can imagine the difficulties we faced with social distancing laws).

This reiterates what we said in last week’s update that open homes are a terrific tool for selling real estate and they are very effective for both buyers and sellers and that many are doing their research via these walk throughs.

Add on top of this a further 50 private inspections and you have a lot of people looking at Mackay real estate at the moment. And the attendees aren’t just looking with more than 20 offers put forward and over $3 million dollars in property going under contract in the past 7 days.

So once again, as you can see, open homes are a great way to buy and sell properties. We look forward to seeing you this weekend at our opens.
